Inspired by Country Shaker designs, the Timberfalls highlights the warmth and expression of handcrafted wood, with its stunning combination of stains and colors, massive turned legs, and brass rosettes detailing the rail aprons. The "casual style" is based on rustic American northwest and European "cottage" styles of the 18th and 19th centuries. Defined by lightly stained non-exotic hardwoods or pine, and unpretentious simple functional design. With its warm, comfortable appeal, casual styles feature broad planks reminisent of cottage beams and joists with mechanical ornaments and few curves.
DESIGN
The Timberfalls table beautifully showcases principal elements of Casual design, with clean, dimensional rails and massive turned posts. It is an understated design that makes sparse use of ornamental beading and gleaming brass rosettes. Constructed of poplar and maple, the Timberfalls table is presented in Shaker brown and hunter green finishes, features diamond-shaped pearlized rail sights, and is available as an eight-foot model.
