The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Maryland and Robbies Billiards have once agian partnered to sponsor thier annual Benefit Auction. All procedes for game room equipment will be put toward medical research to fight CF at Johs Hopkins CF Care Center in Baltimore MD.

This Hagerstown Based Church raised funds to support local youth groups and continuing Christian Education for the community.

As the Industry Struggles overall with the economy, strong established dealers like Robbies were out in Force at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas. While securing the best deals for our customers, Robbies Owners were also given the opportunity to Network with other successful Customer service based retailers around the country and share ideas. Overall, Robbies and the Manufactures we partner with are thriving in this economy and look forward to a successful 2009.

Robbies Owners attended the Brunswick Dealer Advisory Council for the Third Consecutive Year, representing the entire eastern seaboard for Brunswick Retailers. Effective Jan. 1st 2009 Robbies Billiards and Game Room Outfitters is Closing their Winchester VA Showroom. Due to an extremely poor housing market and overall national economic factors it no longer makes sense to operate a 5,000 sq. Ft. store in this market. We appreciate all of the customers who have frequented this showroom since it opened in 2003. Robbies will continue to sell and service in Northern Virginia, but we are concentrating our showroom efforts on the new store in Frederick MD. Our Huge Williamsport MD showroom is only about 45 min. up Highway 81 if you want to visit one of the East Coasts largest Game Room Design Centers. We will be back in Winchester Costco throughout the year at Select Brunswick Road Shows.

Robbies Billiards officially signed the lease for thier Frederick Maryland Showroom today. The location at 3630 Buckeystown Pike (Rt 85) is over 5,000 square feet and will feature Overstock and Close-Out items in addition to our usual selection from companies like Brunswick Billiards and Legacy Billiards. This will be Robbies Billiards 3rd new showroom in the last 5 years.

It is also a new outlet for many of the specially priced, close out, and sale items that sell very quickly in our stores. Thanks to Axis80 and Derrick Miller for helping to set up the new e-commerce solution and hosting the site.

For the fourth straight year Robbies Owners attended the Brunswick Billiards Enrichment Conference held in Cancun, Mexico. In addition to seeing the latest in Product and Merchandising from Brunswick Billiards, Robbies also won the award for top 10 in the USA new product adoption for 2007.

The Maryland Symphony Orchestra had their most successful annual fundraiser ever with help from items donated and on consignment from Robbies. Items included a leather poker table set, a mini-jukebox, and other various game room acutriments.

On March 20th Robbies donated a pool cue and case to N.A.A.R., the National Alliance of Autism Research, for a fundraiser. The cue and case will be auctioned to help raise money for Autism research and to help the Case Family and their autistic son, Tanner.
